the different cultures and people traditions so that it would make them feel
like they were back in their home countries. The Parade was a huge success and

Russia and go to Ellis Island because Russia is no longer safe. When they get

Island. This is when Rachel has the idea to turn his coat inside out to expose
the beautiful wool, her father takes him to another inspector and he is cleared

Jessie is very sad to leave her grandma but she knows she cannot disobey the
rabbi. A few weeks later she boards the boat without her grandmother and
without her mother’s wedding band. On the boat Jessie meets a young boy names
Lou who is a shoemaker son, however when they get to America she does not get
to say goodbye to him. Jessie works at the dress shop and saves her money to buy
her grandma a ticket! She finally has enough to send grandma the ticket. She
also meets up with Lou again and they are going to get married. The day Grandma
arrives in America she has the band and Jessie and Lou are going to get
married.

In the end some of the people are very sick and must return to England for aide, Elizabeth gives Captain John Smith her journal and asked him to make sure that Caleb gets it so he knows they are ok.
